Our staff has many years of education and experience, and we are all dedicated to taking action to better serve our clients.

Angela Hess, Ph.D., BCBA-D, LBA - Owner and Director

Dr. Hess has been working with individuals with special needs since 2004 and has been working using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) since 2009, earning her B.A. from Towson University in education in 2003, her M.A. in Applied Behavior Analysis from Ball State University in 2013, and her Ph.D. in 2021 from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology.

Dr. Hess has worked with children from birth-21 and has extensive experience with both infants and toddlers, elementary-aged children, and teenagers and young adults. Dr. Hess specializes in early language development, toilet training, social skills training, social-emotional skills regulation, and parent and caregiver education and utilizes ABA and Acceptance and Commitment Training (ACTr) in her work with children, young adults, and families as well as in her supervision of individuals working under her.

Janus Raphaelidis, BCBA, LBA - Clinical Supervisor

Janus Raphaelidis has worked with children and adults with special needs in a variety of different settings for the past 30 years, both as a father and professionally. He has been certified as a BCBA since 2017, earning his Master's at McDaniel College the same year. He has been working in the field of ABA since 2014 and is passionate about making learning skills as much fun as possible for the clients he serves. He has experience working in the home setting with children ranging from 1 to 18 years old.

Janus specializes in working with teens and young adults, social social-emotional development and excels in parent and caregiver education.

Emma Mayne, BCBA, LBA - Clinical Supervisor

Emma has been working with individuals with special needs since 2011 and started in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis in 2014. Emma earned her undergraduate degree in Psychology from the University of Maryland Baltimore County (UMBC) in 2014, and her Master’s in Applied Behavior Analysis from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology in 2017. She quickly learned her passion for working with children with autism spectrum disorder.

Emma has worked with children ages 2-13 years old in the home and school setting. Emma specializes in social skills training, toilet training, and daily living skills training.

Kristina Cutter, BCaBA - Assistant Clinical Supervisor

Kristina has been working energetically with children since 2007 and started in the field of ABA during her undergraduate studies in 2013. In 2015, Kristina proudly graduated from West Virginia University with her B.S. in Psychology with a focus on ABA. Kristina also minored in Disabilities and Child Development and earned a presidential service-learning award. After graduating, Kristina has gained hands-on experience with children on the autism spectrum in their homes, communities, clinics, and school settings. Kristina continued to grow in her career and became certified as a BCaBA in June of 2021.

 Kristina has worked one-on-one with children 18 months to 18 years of age, with a wide variety of behaviors and communication delays throughout her experience. Kristina specializes in social and play skills, behavioral reduction, and communication.
