Family and Caregiver Support

We want you to be part of the team! Families and caregivers play an integral part in our client’s lives, and we believe they play an integral part in a client’s progress and response to treatment. We differ from other providers in planning with and for families to be part of the service. Parent education and support are incorporated into everything we do and are a primary focus of service. Therapy that happens outside a parent’s view is less likely to be generalized and implemented in the child’s natural environment.

We provide regular parent education and support. This looks different for every family. For families that have recently been diagnosed, education focuses on the core symptoms of autism, connecting families to other services and educational options, education about available treatments, current research and evidence, and trends. For families of children that have received their diagnosis and/or ABA in the past, we assess to determine the appropriate course of care and education based on the knowledge and preferences of the parent.

We also provide support navigating the IEP process and consult with the schools and teachers of our clients to identify variables that are affecting their educational outcomes.
