Rural ABA

In the past year, I have taken on several clients who have been told they are too far away to receive medically necessary services for their child with autism.

I grew up in the “middle of nowhere” and when I came to Frederick, I was amazed at the variety of resources, services, and stores available but shocked to find that many ABA providers saw Frederick as too far, and Hagerstown as not even possible. Living in a rural area (even though so much of Frederick is NOT rural) should not limit an individual’s access to care, or limit the quality of care.

We strive to take those clients that other providers have strung along or have been told they are simply too far away.

A client we started with this past September had been told by multiple other providers they could be served, only to never get the service promised. Within just a few weeks of limited services, this client has made tremendous strides and is generalizing skills to his family. We work to serve those clients.

If you have been told you are too far away or believe no one would come to you, call us! It might take a little longer to get there, but we will show up!
